Games to watch in DIAA include Cincinnati at Western Michigan, Kentucky at Georgia, St. Joe's at West Chester, and Virginia Tech at Maryland.
This is a pretty important weekend in several DIAA competitions.
Heart of AmericaIowa State leads the HOA North with a 2-0 record and they play Minnesota this weekend at ISU. A bonus-point win for the Cyclones and they clinch #1 in the North. Iowa has sewn up 2nd and a semifinal place.
Not too many of the higher-ranked teams were in action this past weekend, but other ranked teams were.
Nebraska lost big to Iowa, the Florida team are now in action and Florida beat South Florida, and Princeton lost.
It's already time to think about the playoff scenarios in some conferences, and since the Liberty has multiple levels, let's look at them.
(We'll talk about DII in a separate article. Why? Because we said so.)
Liberty NCR D1As expected there are three undefeated teams in the Liberty NCR D1 league now after the weekend's action.
So we separated the DIAA games from the D1A and NCR D1 because now that we're into the conference schedule there's less crossover with the other divisions, and we've also got a lot going on.
Having said that, while there are quite a few games going on, very few, strangely, are ranked-vs-ranked games.
