Well we skipped last week because reasons and so this week we've got data from two weeks with which to adjust the rankings.
And it's interesting because you have to wonder whether some of the changes we made would have been made if we'd gone week-to-week. But we did that at #1.
Navy defeated Army 32-5 in Rugby East action Saturday.
This storied sports rivalry, and a storied rugby rivalry, came to a head Saturday at the Prusmack Rugby Complex in front of a loud and boisterous crowd. Certainly favored, Navy put in what was probably their best performance.
Big winning margins were the hallmark of this weekend in the Liberty NCR D1 conference.
Earlier games this fall had been closer, with most of those close games involving AIC. However this week AIC beat Syracuse by 73, 83-10.
The closest game of the weekend was Fairfield beating Harvard 37-0.
Leading the weekend's top-level men's college activities has to be Army at Navy.
Calling this fixture a heated rivalry is a gross understatement. These two institutions go after each other with an intensity you rarely see in every sport. Rugby is perfect suited for the clash and the games are, generally, very close, physically demanding, and watched closely.
Colorado State won their opening Rocky Mountain Conference game and right now it looks like, again, there's a hot chase for 2nd in the conference as BYU remains the front-runner.
