University of Dayton’s defeat of Miami of Ohio set them up nicely to be top in the MAC South.

It was a tight game down to the wire, with a late try turning a 16-14 deficit into a 21-16 victory. And the game marked a step forward for Dayton, which has been looking to raise its profile over the last few years.

As he waits for a chance to try out with Gloucester, the HS All American and USA U20 flanker is working with his father’s roofing company in Nebraska. It’s hard, and often sun-scorching work, but it’s keeping him balanced for rugby opportunities ahead.
