The MA Sorensen Award is given by the Washington Athletic Club of Seattle every year to the best Women's College rugby player in the USA.

This form is one chance for you, the rugby public, to get involved. Nominate a player you think is the best in the country. If he played most of his rugby in the fall, that's OK. If he played most of his rugby in the spring, that's fine, too.
The MA Sorensen is named after Maryanne Sorensen, who won a Women's Rugby World Cup championship as the starting prop. She was a trailblazing women's rugby player and coach, and also has forged a success career in medicine.
Sorensen has been at every WAC Awards dinner to present the award named after her.
