Here's What You Will See
After this past weekend's games in which Fiji and Japan confirmed their place as pool winners, here are the semifinal matchups:
Japan vs Tonga 3:35PM, September 14, Dicks's Sporting Goods Park. PNC Semifinal
Fiji vs Canada 6:35PM, September 14, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, PNC Semifinal
In addition, we have the 5th-6th game which also doubles as a qualifier for the 2027 Rugby World Cup. By virtue of making the PNC semifinals, Canada and Tonga have secured spots in Australia 2027. Japan and Fiji already qualified thanks to their finish in the last World Cup. Now the USA and Samoa play for 5th. The winner is into the 2027 RWC tournament. The losing team? Well, see below.

September 20
America First Field in Salt Lake City will play host to at three test matches—the PNC 3rd-place game, the PNC final, and a bonus match, a World Cup Qualifier.
The team that loses the 5th-6th match on September 14 will play Chile in the first leg of the two-match series between those two teams. The winner of that series will qualify for the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
