PRO Rugby has terminated its San Francisco team.

In a letter to the team and coaches today, December 15, PRO Rugby Chief Executive Doug Schoninger said that the SF Rush, and all of its employees, has been terminated. This is one of the first on-the-record indications of difficulties within the league. Schoninger said the issues for San Francisco were about finding the right venue. However, the league and the SF players did have other issues earlier this year related to on-time payments (see the Ruggamatrix America Podcast - PROS and Cons).
