Fairfield Prep Tours NorCal, Faces Ignatius, Jesuit
Fairfield Prep concluded a tour to Northern California, playing two single-school teams in the process.
St. Ignatius of San Francisco re-assembled for the first game. Several of the single-school teams in Northern California move on to club play starting in March, but Ignatius hosted Fairfield and pulled off a 31-28 victory.
Ignatius Clinches Cavoli Cup on Senior Night
Newly #1-ranked school team St. Ignatius capped off Senior Night with a 64-24 victory over rivals St. Edward in a midweek meeting of the two Cleveland, Ohio teams.
The game was the finale match of the Cavoli Cup, the challenge trophy inaugurated this season that tracks results including Varsity, JV, and Freshmen and is named after a beloved teacher who taught at both schools.
Teams Confirmed for Boys HS National Championships in May
The teams for the 2025 Boys HS National Championships have been confirmed.
Twenty-four teams will compete in Elkhart, Ind. May 22, 23, and 24, with eight teams in Single-School Tier 1, eight teams in HS Club Tier 1, and eight teams in a combined Tier 2.
The seedings will be decided in the coming days by the HSNC Committee.
