High School Fall 7s kicks off in different ways in different states, but teams are playing.
Mostly the states that have the most robust fall 7s leagues have robust high school playing populations, enough to overcome the influence (on the boys side) of football, and on the girls side, the onrushing challenge of flag football.

Colorado's High School 7s kicked off last weekend with Monarch High School's top side, Monarch Black, running impressively.
Monarch Black beat Titan HS 45-7, Hammer/Boulder 33-7, and Denver East White 52-0 at the opening tournament in Highlands Ranch.

The Boys HS Rugby National Championships has confirmed that it will return to The Rugby Grounds at the Moose Lodge in Elkhart, Ind., and will once again be held leading into Memorial Day Weekend for 2027.
