D1AA Spring Rankings Week 6
We skipped last week but we're back now with the latest D1AA Rankings.
Yes WWU lost, but to a very good Trinity Western team out of British Columbia.
The February 28 result that had the most influence on the rankings was Oregon beating Central Washington, and that result moves the Ducks up a bit.
Walsh Player, Coach Hospitalized After Rugby League Injury
Stephan Herbst, who was just named Head Coach at Walsh University, has been severely injured while playing Rugby League for the NCR Ruby League All-Stars Vegas 9s Rugby League Festival in Nevada.
Thriller at Witter as Cal Edges Navy
Shorthanded and in a tie game, Cal scored a late try through No. 8 Oliver Teague to edge Navy 52-45 at Witter Rugby Field.
This was a clash of the GRR #1 Navy and #2 Cal, and it didn’t disappoint.
Cal lost starting openside flanker Chris Biller to injury in the first two minutes, but shook off that setback and soon thereafter scored.

GRR's #1 Navy visits GRR's #2 Cal in Berkeley Saturday at 1PM local time, in a game that could be a D1A final preview.
Where We Are in D1AA
We're down to the key weekend in CRAA Men's D1AA and here's where we stand.
NCRC
Western Washington has enjoyed one of their most consistently good seasons, and clinched the NCRC top spot last week in a win over University of Washington. At 7-0, WWU has one more game, but they've got it wrapped up.
