College Champions in 2025

Some time ago we at GRR World Headquarters posted a video mentioning that there were 31 national-level championships.

Well, that number has dropped a little of late, but we still have 28 competitions that, at the very least, the organization running it views it as a major championship.

Some are more all-encompassing than others. Some are more championship than others.

When College Rugby Programs Shut Down: What's Going On?

This column was intended to be a follow-up to the Wheeling University women’s team issues, but in the end I found myself writing about a broader topic.

D1AA Fall Hot 100: Center

We continue with our Hot 100 from this fall's D1AA action.

Center is one of the larger groups, and it makes sense as even when a team is struggling they will have a tough character who deserves to see the ball.

Nineteen players from 17 different colleges are represented.

Tomorrow we round it all out with Wing and Fullback.

D1AA Fall Hot 100: Scrumhalf and Flyhalf

As we mentioned in our earlier postings, sometimes there are a lot of players in one position, and sometimes the list is a little small.

Scrumhalf is another where there are a lot of quite good scrumhalves, but if we take a tighter definition for our Hot 100, the list cuts down.

At flyhalf we are just anout where you'd expect for this position.
