Player Spotlight: Max Doerfler's Inspiring Journey

West Point's explosive victory over Queens University Charlotte this past weekend showcased a somewhat newer offensive approach from the Black Knights, and it was also a big day for one particular player.

Max Doerfler, a second-year loose forward starting at No. 8, scored two tries and was an influence throughout the game. But that's only part of the story.

Crossover Chances as D1AA Teams Open September

Conference games aren't really happening yet in D1AA but teams are in action.

In the Lonestar, the Dust the Rust Tournament is a nice annual kickoff event among college teams in Texas. This year, they have split the event into a North event in Denton, Texas, and a South event in San Marcos, Texas.

It's early days of course in D1A, but we're back with a new week of rankings.

We only make a couple of small changes, but this is a good time to remind you that playoff and bowl games have more of an influence than conference games, and those games have more of an influence over preseason games.

The Top College Players Who Didn't Get Picked in the MLR Draft

The MLR draft is finished with 14 players picked, with Logan Ballinger and Solomon Williams going #1 and #2, respectively.

Those two players were Rudy Scholz Award finalists as the top men's college player in the country. Williams ended up winning the award.
