Tim Maupin, Wing

(David Barpal photo.) Tim Maupin is now in an intense competition for playing time at wing. He was already with Blaine Scully and Luke Hume. Now Brett Thompson comes in and does just fine. Mile Craigwell is still trying to break in, too. Maupin works really hard and his best days are when he is asked to do a lot of work, because he thrives on work. One wonders if he can get back to playing a little center, too. What hurts Maupin at present is that he is not playing in a professional environment, and most of his competition is.
