GRR: Olympic Qualifier
The USA Men's 7s team has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after beating Canada 24-14 Sunday afternoon in Langford, BC.
The Eagles overcame a couple of big mistakes that helped Canada to their tries, but paced by the brilliance and leadership of captain Kevon Williams and plenty of hard work they were able to get home with the win in front of a vocally pro-Canada crowd.
The USA looked composed and dynamic in beating Bermuda 62-0 in their RAN 7s opener.

As the RAN 7s Olympic qualifier gets set to kick off on Saturday, the gravity of the situation is something the USA team has to appreciate … and forget about.
“For us, it means the world,” said USA captain Kevon Williams. “We know we’re supposed to be here. We know qualifying is really important.”
USA Men's 7s team Head Coach Mike Friday announced his traveling roster for 2023 RAN Sevens as they continue their journey to Olympic qualification.
Thirteen men head to Langford, BC, where they will begin their tour with Mexico and Bermuda in Pool A. 2023 RAN Sevens kicks off Friday, August 18, live on The Rugby Network.
