Some statements were made at the Tropical 7s Boys U18 Elite bracket today.
The Jamaica Junior Crocs showed how far their program has come with two impressive victories over Rugby Quebec and Hawkeyes, and their loss to Eagle Impact Rugby Academy (which cost them #1 in their pool) was just 24-19. EIRA, like the Crocs, went 2-1, losing a shaky opener 12-7 to Hawkeyes.
USA Youth & HS has partnered with Next Phase Rugby to help athletes connect with collegiate rugby programs across the nation.
What this means is that every High School player who is a member of USA Youth and High School Rugby gets a discount for the Next Phase premium membership.
Tsunami Canadian Misfits won the HS Boys Premier division with a 19-12 win over Upright Rugby Rogues.
GRR sponsor Next Phase Rugby is kicking off its select side plans with an appearance at the NAI 7s.
As outlined in a recent press release, Next Phase is helping to promote its app with camps, potentially a tournament, and a touring side.
Next Phase Rugby has big plans for the rest of 2023 and beyond. The rugby recruiting platform, known for connecting high school players with United States collegiate programs in the United States, will be introducing its Academy team this summer. It will also launch summer/winter camps, clinics, and a 7s tournament in 2024.
