GRR: Irish Rugby Tours
The Eastside Lions enjoyed one of their best seasons in the club’s history, and a big part of that was a tour to Ireland.
Eastside finished the regular season in Washington with an 9-1 record, and took 3rd in the Boys HS National Championships Tier 2 after a one-point loss in the semis.
The Danville Oaks won the Boys HS Rugby National Championships HS club championship, and it might just be that a trip to England and Wales helped make it happen.
The Oaks toured Ireland with Irish Rugby Tours during the spring, and the trip sowed the seeds for a national title, and possible more in the future.
From July 28 th to August 24 th 2017, seven Susquehanna University Men’s Rugby players embarked on the trip of their lifetime as they toured Ireland as part of Susquehanna’s required study abroad program.
