Cal and Arkansas State will play each other for the Varsity Cup final after they won difficult semifinals Saturday.
Arkansas battled Navy in the rain in Jonesboro, Ark., and it was a game that hinged, to a certain extent, on one play. With the score 10-7 to ASU near halftime.
And just like that, we're down to four teams in the Varsity Cup.
Cal hosts Penn State and Arkansas State hosts Navy in this year's final four, and it's all up in the air.
CLEMSON, SC – The Cal Golden Bears dotted down 11 tries and held Clemson scoreless until the 80th minute to defeat the Tigers 71-5 Saturday on National Athletic Village Field in the quarterfinals of the Varsity Cup.
The Bears will host a semifinal Saturday, April 22, at 1 pm PT on Witter Rugby Field against Penn State, which defeated Army, 47-34, in University Park, Pa.
The Varsity Cup enters its quarterfinals and things get a little tougher for those who pulled out victories last week.
