The Denver Barbarians won the Men's 7s Qualifier at the Denver 7s Saturday, crushing the Glendale Raptors 61-0 in the final.

The Kansas City Blues looked very strong in taking third over Aspen. Denver now leads the three-tournament West series with 6 points, but the decisiveness of the Barbarians' win over Glendale puts the rest of the region on notice.

The International Rugby Board has confirmed the six men’s and six women’s teams that will participate in the Rugby Sevens competitions at the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games from August 17-20. Nanjing will be the first time that Rugby Sevens has appeared on the Olympic programme and 144 players will participate across the six men’s and six women’s teams with Japan, Fran

Penn State grad BIanca Dalal is off to join the USA 7s Women's team at the Olympic Training Center.

Dalal, a wing, fullback and scrumhalf with the Nittany Lions, was a big part of the Penn State run to a DI title this spring. She also caught the eye of USA 7s Coach Ric Suggitt during the fall 7s campaign.

This weekend in Atlanta the South held their first 7s club qualifying tournament for both men and women.

Atlanta Old White won the Men's Qualifier, beating Charlotte 7-5 in the final.

The Atlanta Harlequins won the Women's Qualifier, 27-12 over Orlando.

The East Coast Rugby Conference has selected 24 players in its All-Conference pool. 

Eleven players were selected to the conference's 1st Team, with 13 on the second team, and two honorable mentions.
