The Woodlands D2 players took the field after that and the Crusaders came away 12-0 winners in a 20-minute session.

Both Woodlands and Crusaders were missing a couple of players who might have started.

On Tuesday night Woodlands played Thunder Rugby in a midweek game. Woodlands struggled to avoid penalties in the breakdown and were heavily penalized (32-6) compared to Thunder. Still, Woodlands led 12-3 before getting a yellow card that opened up a chance for Thunder to score.

Final score was 12-10 in a physical clash between two highly-ranked teams.

The D2 sides met up and this was equally close, Woodands winning 14-12.
