Life University looks like they will have control of the South division of the ARP after a convincing 47-7 defeat of Miami, however they will have to face Atlanta this coming weekend.

That's a big decider. Life got a two tries from wing Gabriel Michnya and 12 points from the boot of flyhalf Hugh O'Kennedy to win that opening ARP match. But, as we said, this coming weekend will tell us all a bit more.

The question in the North is also down, probably, to two teams. Mystic River's 42-5 defeat of NYAC put an end to a streak of close losses for the AC. For Mystic, once again wing Devin Rivet's pace produced tries—he scored two. Mitch Wilson returned after his stint with the USA team, in which he was drafted into kicking goals after injuries to both Eagle flyhalves. Wilson was given the kicking duties for Mystic, too, and slotted six of seven conversions. 

White Plains, meanwhile, had to battle for it in a 23-17 win over Old Blue to move to 3-0. Eric Naposki continues to score clutch tries and kick clutch goals. And No. 8 Ratu Napolioni Dawai scored two tries in the match. Jale Railala was, for the secon time this season,
