University of Arizona Seeks New Women's Head Coach

University of Arizona is looking for a Women's Rugby Head Coach.

The University of Arizona rugby program is looking to hire a Head Coach for the Women's Rugby program to start in the 2021-2022 season.

The new coach will work with the Director of Rugby to grow the program and includes a stipend. 

The successful candidate will be tasked with gameday and off-field operations for all aspects of the team while working with the Director of Rugby to grow the game locally, nationally, and internationally. This position is renewable on an annual basis based on the meeting of position expectations and program performance.

Required Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, excellent interpersonal skills, previous coaching experience in rugby at the high school or collegiate level, active or easily renewable SafeSport certification, and USA Rugby Level 200 coach certification.

Preferred Qualifications include Head Coach experience at the collegiate or high school level, proven ability to relate well with students, coaches, and university staff, previous experience in a development-oriented, performance training environment. previous training or experience in a professional education setting, and USA Rugby Level 300 coach certification.
