The Charlotte Tigress took 1st in the BodyArmor North Carolina State Games this past weekend.
In the round-robin 7s tournament for HS girls, Tigress beat Raleigh Cobras, Raleigh Redhawks, and the Wando Wahines.
The Tigress have finished 10-0 in 15s matches this season, and 12-0-1 in 7s games, including a Girls U18 Championships at the Tropical 7s. They were also 4-0 in 10-a-side matches. Their only non-win was a tie 24-24 with Gorilla Rugby Academy in the opening game of the Tropical 7s; Tigress went on to reel off five straight wins to take the bracket.
