Here s the latest from state championship playoffs around the country:

Ohio: St. Edward v St. Ignatius was postponed due to weather.

Indiana: Penn HS scored twice early and held off Royal Irish 19-17 in an upset. Meanwhile, in the DI final, the HSE Royals edged Fishers 7-5.

In the Minnesota semis, Edina survived Minnetonka 24-22. Duluth defeated Hopkins. Duluth and Edina play for the final in a week.

Oregon: Union Titans won the single-school championship with a 46-20 defeat of Newberg.

Virginia: West End defeated Fort Hunt 22-20 on the final play of the game. The score was 20-17 against Fort Hunt, which had scouted West End well, and with time up on the clock West End scrumhalf and (of course) ultimately the game MVP, Jacob Estes, zipped over for the game-winner.

Michigan: Grandville, which beat Rockford 15-12 in the regular season, upped their game in the rain to beat Rockford 25-7 Saturday in the Michigan state final. Grandville never trailed.

Massachusetts: BC High completed their undefeated season with a defeat of Belmont High to win the MYRO DI championship.

North Carolina: In a game dedicated to a North Mecklenburg player who tragically drowned this past week, Charlotte Catholic defeated North Meck 55-17 to win the NC single-school championship.

Wisconsin: Pulaski defeated Middleton 28-18.
