The Southern California Boys HS Varsity White playoff matchups are confirmed.

Eight teams will play off in a quarterfinal, and the following week will be the semifinals.

There are also consolation playoffs.

The five conference winners are joined by the three best second-place teams for the eight-team Cup Quarterfinalists:

Murrieta Valley at Wilson HS

Los Alamitos at Carlsbad HS

Corona Centennial at Servite

Jaguars at La Jolla

2nd Tier Playoffs:

Corona Del Mar at Warren HS

Point Loma at Westview

California at Rancho Bernardo

Norco HS at Marina HS

Corona Centennial and Corona Del Mar are both new programs that started rugby this season. Combined those two teams were 5-2-1 in league play. Servite has looked very strong so far this season and beating Los Al 57-22 in the final weekend of action was especially head-turning.

Matthews Leads Servite To Big Win

La Jolla beat the Valley Center Jaguars 35-34 in the 2019 final, and those two get to play that final all over again the quarterfinals. In league play this season La Jolla went 5-0 outscoring opponents 304-39, an average of 61-8. 

Carlsbad was even more dominant than La Jolla, outscoring their four opponents 289-5. Perhaps the closest game might be Murrieta Valley at Wilson. This is the one game between two conference winners. Murrieta Valley tied Corona Centennial in an emotional conference game last week.

Wilson just edged Warren 14-7 to remain undefeated, but will get a couple of players back in the lineup for this weekend.
