The St. Louis University High School rugby varsity team, the Footybills, secured a 38-7 victory against the St. Louis Jets on April 27 in a league game that showcased success on both ends of the field.

At the St. Charles Soccer Complex, the Footybills set the tempo early, using the wind to help them score 19 points in a solid first half.

Footybills displayed a balanced attack, with Ollie Barczewski, Tommy O'Keefe, Archie Carruthers, David Kuebler, and Bill Albus all getting over the line for a try. Nathan Gunn was crucial, not only with his conversions but also with his ability to rally the team scoring a late try of his own.

Coaches were happy to finishers bring good energy off the bench. Will Sheffield, single-handedly infused the SLUH side with a fresh surge of energy in the second half.
