Canada has made three personnel changes, with Thorson Noble coming in at loosehead prop for Justin Tasse (who is on the bench) and a new midfield with Morgan Mitchell coming in at #12 and Morgan Di Nardo moving from wing to outside center, with Thomas Wells Richards slotting in at the wing.
The USA team has made seven changes. Thomas Wagner, Maseah Young, Benjamin Saunders, Jordan Vassel, Luke Schaefer, Solomon Williams will see their first action in Langford and Padraic Casey will slot in at scrumhalf.
Leading the two-game series 33-18, the USA will want to build on that to win the series and qualify for the World Junior Trophy in Scotland this summer.
“This week we’ve focused on discipline and connection," said gameday captain Dom Besag. "We’re looking to really have those as our focus points on defense. Attack wise, we’re looking to just be simple and execute the simple things. Elvis has a great attack plan for us, we just want to get those things right before we move forward on anything more complex. Overall, as a team, the ideology this week is to finish the job.”
The game kicks off at 10PM ET and will be on Rugby Pass. Link to the game is here>>
