Rye HS logged an impressive result over the weekend, beating Fordham Prep in emphatic fashion.

Rye, a school team in New York with aspirations, came out fast and hard and controlled the game from the outset.

Charlie Howard led the way in the forward pack by controlling the lineouts and restarts. Declan Quirke manned the ship all afternoon at scrumhalf, distributing the ball but also making many key breaks. Indiana Rugby commit Jack McRedmond led on defense, making several important dominant tackles from his outside center position. Center Gio Cavatoni also shone for Rye. 

Rye are 2-0 in league play with two bonus point wins so far.

They travel to former Massachusetts champions Belmont High School on Friday April 29.
