National Youth 7s Day Two Scores
Spare a though for Tribe, which had a battle in almost every game. They lot to Badger Selects 12-10 in pool play, and a win there would have seen them in the top four. They played Pasefika twice, beating them by a try each time. They looked very impressive in their 5th-place semifinal over Wildcats.
In the U14s, PRA also showed well, getting to the semifinals, but the champion was Loudoun. The Virginia-based team showed superb teamwork in beating Bethesda and, in the final San Diego 24-19.
Bethesda took 3rd over PRA, while Utah Elite did well to take 5th over Badger Selects. Utah were just pipped for a place in the semis via points difference (losing out to Bethesda). They ended the tournament 4-1 with their only loss to Loudoun.
West Park took 7th over Bremer, the CATS rebounded from a 0-3 Day One to edge Pasefika in the 9th-place semis and Hawkeyes in the 9th-place final. Pasefika took 11th over Wasatch.
