The NSCRO 7s in Chester, Pa. finished pool play and, no surprise, New Mexico Highlands is playing well.

NMHU was barely touched in their first two games - both shutouts - before upending Susquehana in a clash of 2-0 teams. Susquehana was impressive, and finishes 2nd in the pool.

St. Mary's of Maryland won their pool, scoring three tries with two conversions in each game. But that was enough, as they held each opponent to one or two tries, and went 3-0. The second place came down to points difference as both Franklin & Marshall and Claremont Colleges tied each other and ended the day 1-1-1. F&M went into the final game of the day realizing they needed a big score against Ithaca, and got it, 41-0. Claremont Colleges then needed a tie or a win against St. Mary's. They didn't get it, pushing St. Mary's close at 19-10, but they needed a lot more.
