Boys HS teams from the Met NY area have started a fall 7s season.

The competition will feature five tournaments, with points awarded in each of them, making for a series winner. Pelham HS has committed to entering three teams, and Keio Academy two. North Fork, Montauk, New York, and Thornton Donovan are also expected to enter, with Rockaway, Harvey, and St. Francis possible.

The first tournament will be September 18 and the final tournament October 30.

The competition started after several teams found out they couldn’t fit into the New Jersey 7s league.

Pelham won the New Jersey league in 2015 and also won the JV bracket.
