NEC On Streak into NSCRO 7s

The National Small College Organization finishes up its men's season with the 7s in Chester, Pa., and New England College hopes to mark its move to DI for 2015-16 with a 15s and 7s double.

NEC finally overcame St. John's to win the 15s championships earlier this month. Now they look to repeat in the 7s championship they won last year.

Tired after a long season, NEC will have some significant opposition, chief among them New Mexico Highlands, the team they beat in the 7s final last year. 

The teams competing this year are:

Pool A

NEC - won AIC 7s - 2014 Winners

Susquehanna - Grove City 7s

Wayne State - Simpson 7s

Claremont Colleges - Claremont 7s

 

Pool B

Lee - Tennessee Tech 7s

North Florida - Valdosta 7s

Lafayette - East Penn 7s

New Mexico Highlands - 2014 Runners-Up

 

Games begin at 8am Saturday, with all matches being played at PPL Park's satellite fields in Chester, Pa.. The semis and final will be in the PPL Park main stadium.

 

There is a live stream of the semis and final. Semis are Sunday, May 31 at 8:20am and 8:40am ET, with the final at 1:40pm ET.
