Myers Park Logs Impressive Win

Myers Park defeated Ardrey Kell in impressive fashion to move to 2-1 in the Carolinas Boys Single School Division.

The only loss for Myers Park was against Charlotte Catholic. In this game captain and No. 8 Tye Mendenhall was a powerful presence, testing defenses with strong carries, while scrumhalf Tyler Palm kept the tempo up.

But the MVP of the game was probably new player and junior Edward Durham, who scored an impressive long-range try from 60 meters away, player a strong defensive game and caused Ardrey Kelly all sorts of problems when he had the ball. Ardrey Kell captain and No. 8 Sean Barry put in a full day's work and flyhalf Val Razumovskiy also played well.

But Myers Park controlled much of the game with the official score 35-0 (winning margins are limited to 35 in the Carolinas league).
