Men's All Americans Selected For RugbyTown 7s

GLENDALE, CO. - The Men’s Collegiate All-American Sevens have named their full squad for the 2019 RugbyTown Sevens taking place in Glendale, CO from August 23-25.

Held at Infinity Park, the All-Americans will seek to build on their bronze medal finish from last year with 14 exciting players in the group. Tickets and a live stream are available at rugbytown7s.com.

Fresh from winning Bronze at the Pan American Games in Lima, D’Montae Noble and Harley Wheeler will all suit up for RugbyTown. Five All-Americans will come from the second-annual Men’s Collegiate All-American Selection camp and match with All-Canadian University XVs including Mike Dabulas, Troy Lockyear, Santiago Mascolo, Cristian Rodriguez and Wesley White.

Held annually in the late summer, RugbyTown Sevens brings together 20 of the top domestic and international clubs for a weekend of action where the winning team claims a $10,000 prize. This year, the All-Americans will face off against CCIG Life West, Lomaiviti Rugby USA, Marlborough Compeed and NOLA Gold in Pool D.

Men’s Collegiate All-American Sevens Head Coach Steve Lewis has confidence not only in his squad but in the honor and opportunity that comes in playing for the All-Americans.

“The Collegiate All-American Sevens program is a critical piece of the puzzle in the identification and development of players for the Eagles National Sevens Team, allowing the country’s top collegiate rugby players to compete against quality domestic and international opposition,” said Lewis. “Thanks once again to the generous support of the City of Glendale, these athletes get to come together and see what they’re made of. I’m confident this crop will acquit themselves well.”
