Some movement in this week's Men's DII rankings. While some of the top teams remain on the top, there have been a few shakeups.
Salisbury lost to Mount St. Mary's, a team from NSCRO; it's a non-conference game, but the Sharks do get pinged for the loss. With #4 UW-Lacrosse also losing (albeit to #2 UW-Whitewater) and with Towson's win being a forfeit and Coast Guard's win being very close, and St. Louis being upset by UMS&T, in the end Grand Valley State fills the void at #3.
We've bumped up Georgetoen simply because they haven't faltered at all. Faltering, though, were Buffalo State, Bentley, Old Dominion and St. Louis. Buffalo State's loss to RIT might have hurt them further, but the game was a weird one, with a Buff State player going down to a siezure. He's OK, but the emergency run to the hospital for staff and player didn't put the rest of the team in mind to play against a motivated RIT team. So we hold RIT out ... they haven't won a lot ... and drop Buffalo State 15 places, but not further than that.
St. Louis is caught by UMS&T and drops 12 spots. Old Dominion tied Mary Washington, a team we had right near the rankings, so ODU basically holds steady. Bentley drops - these teams are all so close that one loss, even to a ranked team, can see you drop quickly. Also dropping is IUP because they don't return their calls or report their scores. Western State and Minnesota-Mankato coming in as well as we expend the list to 45.
