Men D2 College Rankings for Fall 2022 Week 9

NC State and UNC Wilmington, two teams with still some conference games to play to prove their worth.

The playoffs are coming.

When the playoffs are here we will see some significant movement. Don't expect the rankings to be perfect. No, not at all. To be honest, while we are pretty sure of the top three, even they could, of course, lose at some point. And we are pretty sure that teams #4 through #11 could all be mixed up and we wouldn't argue.

Yes the Great Midwest final will help. Same goes for the MARC. There are some key Southern Conference games left to help us out. But really it will be the national playoffs. There have been years where we had to drastically change the rankings after those first-round games. Who knows? We might have to this time.

The Goff Rugby Report Rankings are brought to you by Next Phase Rugby. This app, downloadable at NextPhaseRugby.Com, is useful even for small, D2, and club college teams. These teams can download the app and set up a team profile—you may not have money or admission tags, but you can talk about your school's academics, your team culture, and your coaching. those are all things high school rugby players want to know about.
