We make no bones about the fact that our D2 initial rankings involve a lot of guesswork.
Ha! Some might say out penultimate rankings involve a lot of guesswork.
Well, we looked at some of the teams and how they have built their rosters, but it's all D2, and as a result fortunes change quickly. Teams that had a somewhat breakout season in 2023 get moved down a little as we wait to see if it was just a one-off.
Likewise, some teams we expect to be back to their regular level are moved up. However ... it is ALL up in the air.
