We almost put Oregon State in the Top 40 but, really, couldn't find a team that deserved to drop out.
Think of OSU as being ranked 40.5. South Florida's tie with Central Florida kind of points out how a team's quality can sometimes be hidden. All USF had on their record were two losses to the two league leaders and two wins over FAU and Eckerd. Basically there wasn't a ton of evidence where they fit. The biggest piece was their 33-29 loss to Florida.
But this week, South Florida tied Central Florida and so, yes, it seems like those two are pretty close.
WWU's win over to Oregon in really lousy weather was very close and they nudge down. ARC's very close loss to SJSU moves them up.
We also move Florida up really on just thinking about it more and thinking we short-changed them last week.
