The playoffs are coming and we're here for it.
This past week we got a game we didn't expect, and didn't get a game we did expect. San Diego took on Claremont Colleges on a reschedule of a game that should have been played earlier. San Diego won.
Western Washington was supposed to play Boise State this weekend, but it snowed quite a bit over the weekend and Boise State decided not to finish the drive from Idaho to Bellingham, Wash., because it was too dangerous. OK, well, that game will be made up and that will decide who is assured of a playoff spot.
American River keeps winning and winning well, and keeps moving up. Central Florida comes back into the Top 40 after another good win. Keep an eye, also, on St. Thomas in Florida. In the Sunshine State, keep an eye on March 23 when Florida State plays St. Thomas and then a week later when St. Thomas plays Florida. Those will be huge.
