Seven teams move at least four spots this week.

We took a closer look at Sam Houston State and realized we had dismissed an early result that we should not have, so the Bearkats move up. San Jose State keeps on winning and the Spartans are now at #12.

The biggest movers are American River, which beat Chico State. We're still a little conservative with ARC because they did lose to Stanford—yes it was overturned but in terms of ranking which team ranks on the field, we can't vault them too far up with that overturned loss on their record. Not yet, at least.

California D1AA: Teams Make Statements

Fresno State moves up as well and the game between ARC and FSU will be a key one in California.

Arizona State moves up despite a loss because we saw something from them in a very competitive 60 minutes or so vs U. San Diego. For USD, heck we might see them at #1 at some point. St. Thomas and Boise State are potentially poised to make a big move.
