One more big game for Navy as we see the massive showdown between St. Bonaventure and Navy, two unbeaten teams in the Rugby East.
Navy has been on a role and likely they welcomed that (very) challenging game with Life University. After winning games by large margins, coaches do love a close one. St. Bonaventure has beaten Kutztown, Army, and Penn State, with those last two games being within a try. Certainly they have shown they can tough it out.
We're very interested in the Notre Dame College vs Kutztown game. This matchup came down to a try and conversion on the final play of the game last year to eke it out for NDC 40-39.
NDC Interim Head Coach Hugh Johnston says he needs to see his team improve their discipline and pointed to the two yellow cards they took in a win over Penn State.
"And then probably we need to reduce our skill errors. We generate solid front-foot ball but don't execute on our opportunities."
The team that wins here, along with how Queens does vs Army, will have NCR playoff implications.
Indiana hosts Illinois in a big one in the Big 10, and Rocky Mountain has two notable games. Ranked (D1A) BYU plays at ranked Utah State.
Oklahoma at Texas A&M is an early Red River notable. Big Rivers has all three of their quarterfinals at Marian, while the Liberty is highlights by Brown at Iona.
