The Loudoun County (LoCo) U16 team dominated their bracket at the 10th Annual Medstar National Rehab Hospital Tournament in Great Falls, Va.
Fundraiser Tournament a Huge Success at Great Falls
Eight of the ten players were freshman playing in their first high school event.
The LoCo boys went 4-0 and won the JV division.
They used stifling defense throughout the tournament to hold all opponents scoreless and were able to vary their attack to put up strong scores throughout the day with both forwards and backs scoring tries.
They won games: 49-0 (vs. West Carroll Marauders), 43-0 (vs. Minutemen), and 45-0 (vs. Bethesda Roosters) before bringing home the victory in the final, 33-0. A great day on the pitch for these boys.
