PRESS RELEASE Marietta, Ga. - After unprecedented success in their first season, Life U Women's Rugby coach Rosalind Chou is not resting on her laurels.  Chou has been on the recruiting trail from day one, searching the country for talent and character as she looks to continue to build the program at Life U.

Chou and her staff are committed to developing young women within the USA Rugby system as part of the larger mission of growing and improving the game in this country.  With Life U being a regional Olympic Development Academy, Chou has had the privilege of working alongside US National Team coaches at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA this season.  She has applied what she learned there to the training and development of players at Life U.

"It's our goal at Life U to create a model program for women's collegiate rugby in the United States," said Chou.  "To see the way our first team improved every day, and enjoy the success they did, is a testament to their commitment to the program and the training regimen.  I'm excited for this second recruiting class to come here and get into our system as well."

The 2015 Recruiting Class includes:
Savannah Austin - Memphis Storm (TN)
Ana Fanning - Keystone Rugby (PA)
Sylina Flowers - Valkyries Rugby (PA)
Jazmin Gutierrez - Naples Girls Rugby (FL)
Jesah Haun - Memphis Storm (TN)
Melefinau Malu - San Diego (CA)
Bonnie Mosby - Memphis Storm (TN)
Roxanna Patterson - Ravenwood Rugby (TN)
Amelie Poulin - Valkyries Rugby (PA)
Zoe Rex - Valkyries Rugby (PA)
Brittany Wilcox - Florida International University (FL)
Whitney Wilson - Kingwood Rugby (TX)

"It's more than just rugby though," Chou points out.  "Part of collegiate-level athletics is developing the person as well.  Good habits and good decisions lead to success in every facet of life.  In addition to their rugby talent, these young women have shown certain character traits that will serve them well as they navigate college and their lives in the real world afterwards."
