This is a calm before the storm kind of weekend in D2, but at the same time, the games that are being played carry plenty of weight.

UNC-Charlotte vs North Carolina State is a game being made up after it was postponed on October 1, and has turned out to be a conference decider as well as a national playoff seeding decider.

NCR has play-ins. Mira Costa College is a relative unknown in this arena and will have their hands full against Montana State. Auburn vs Memphis decides the SCRC but also decides which of those two teams go on to the national playoffs. 

There are four other play-ins and three involve a conference champion from a conference that, apparently, doesn't rate a straight shot to the Round of 16. So the games carry some additional weight in terms of conference pride.
