Yesterday's Rugby Idaho Girls JV 7s tournament was called off and today's Varsity tournament may still be in doubt.

Poor air quality resulting from massive wildfires in the Pacific Northwest is the culprit. Monday's tournament was deemed to be unhealthy for young lungs and was called off. An assessment this afternoon of the air quality will lead to a decision on the Varsity tournament.

(UPDATE: The Tuesday night Varsity 7s were also canceled for the same reason)

Rocky Mountain HS Impresses In Idaho Fall 7s

So Rocky Mountain Purple remains atop the standings with a 2-0 record, with Mountain View also at 2-0 but with a slightly less impressive points difference. After that there is Rocky Mountain Black (1-1), Eagle HS (0-2), amd Meridian HS (0-2). Rocky Mountain Purple and Mountain View were slated to face off yesterday. Eagle and Meridian were also going to play each other.

The JV series returns next Monday at Meridian HS.
