Gamebreakers - DI College Men

Basnight leads from the front for West Point.

Here are players this week who showed something special in men's DI college games this weekend.

Peter Basnight

The West Point flanker was a terror on defense and scored what proved to be the game-sealing try for Army in their win over Wheeling Jesuit.

Spencer Bussineau and Anthony Saladino

The two locks for Western Michigan were enormously influential in the scrum and on defense as WMU upset Bowling Green. They also each scored a try.

Maverick Schirmer

Having returned to Ellensburg, Wash. stronger and faster, Schirmer was the best player for Central Washington as the Wildcats won the WWU 7s.

Nick Marmareanu

The US Naval Academy No. 8 scored three tries in the Midshipmen win over Dartmouth.

Tyler Ringwood

Two tries from Ringwood paced Iona to a 33-10 victory over St. Bonaventure.

Donovan and Logan Ronan

Twin brothers and both freshman flankers for Oklahoma were tenacious and aggressive defenders in an impressive victory over Arkansas.

Zach Herzog

Colgate's forwards captain set the tone for his squad as they defeated Fordham and remained undefeated in conference play.

Barrington McNutt

Two tries for Florida International saw McNutt lead his team over South Flroida.

Walter Saravia

The University of North Texas was a ball-paching machine as UNT survived a tough St. Edward's team to win the Texas Cup 40-36.
