Gamebreakers - DI College Men

In this week's Game Breakers, we look at the DI Men's College players who made an impact for their teams over the past weekend.

Niall McNamara

Bowling Green flanker McNamara was big on defense and became a crucial weapon for the Falcons in winning his teams own restarts, helping them to a 44-22 win over Ohio State.

Christian Adams

Adams scored four tries for AIC in their decisive victory over Dartmouth.

Jordan Ghyzel

The Kutztown flanker scored two tries and was heavily involved in other aspects of play as the Bears put Delaware to the claw.

Stephen Beckerle

Beckerle paced the University of Florida with three tries as the Gators opened their SCRC account with a win over Mississippi State.

Ross Depperschmidt

It seems as if any good things the University of Alabama rugby team does, center Ross Depperschmidt has something to do with it. He opened up gaps all day against Ole Miss.

Robin Persignol

The Oklahoma No. 8 seemed to be everywhere at once as he was part of an impressive back row effort as the Sooners beat Tulsa in their home opener.

Lorenzo Thomas

Despite his University of Tulsa team losing to Oklahoma, Thomas notched all three of his team’s tries in the losing effort.

Jimmy Sheridan

The Stony Brook prop has been everything for the Sea Wolves these last few years, and he once again stepped up in Stony Brook’s defeat of Fordham.

Ted Benge

The rookie wing scored two tries in a back-and-forth 47-39 win for Middlebury over UConn.

Derek Wagener

The Colgate prop helped the raiders to 39-5 win over Binghamton with two tries.

Jimmy Ronan

The Penn State scrumhalf has been a lights-out goalkicker since his high school days at Gonzaga and he needed to be Saturday, as he booted eight penalty goals to help the Nittany Lions past Wheeling Jesuit 38-33.
