The Empire Rugby Conference has announced that it has signed on Boathouse Sports® as its official apparel supplier - this is a three-year deal.

The Empire Rugby Conference is comprised of Syracuse, Colgate, Stony Brook, Fordham, the Merchant Marine Academy, Brockport and Binghamton. All teams will exclusively wear  Boathouse’s Made-In-America on-field and sideline apparel.  As part of the agreement, Boathouse will also be building online Team Stores for each of the teams to facilitate the sale of officially approved fan apparel.

“The ERC is thrilled to be aligning with Boathouse for the next 3 years,” said Andrew Gheraldi, President of the Empire Rugby Conference.  “Many of our teams have been in their gear – and love the quality and durability. Plus, since it is made in the USA, their service is excellent. Boathouse will be helping each Empire Conference team build their unique look and brand, and will be working with the league to promote College Rugby here in the East.”

Boathouse entered the collegiate rugby scene in 2011 and '12 on the backs of Dartmouth, and signed a multi-year agreement in 2014 as the official outfitter of the Ivy Rugby Conference.  Boathouse also stepped up its support for the growth of college rugby in 2014 when it signed on as a sponsor of the US Collegiate Development rugby camp.
