Dramatic Win for Roswell in Georgia

In the only game played this weekend in Georgia's HS league, Roswell defeated Walton High 24-17 to move to 2-3.

On a cold rainy night, Walton took the lead right out of the gate with two well-taken tries, but they couldn't make the conversions and led 10-0. Walton’s attack was spearheaded by two powerful props, Eddie Smith and Trevor Dart. But Roswell kept it close and scored a try from long range, and Andrew Pretorius heped move the scoreboard with his goalkicking. A penalty from Pretorius tied the game at 17-17 with five minutes to go, and then with only seconds remaining, Campbell Robinson went over for Roswell to secure the win.

Pretorius made the conversion to end the match 24-17.

It was a dramatic win for Roswell, who improve to 2-3.
