We've decided to rank D1AA teams per month in addition to some of our other rankings.
This is thanks to a request from readers and we are keeping it monthly because otherwise we'd never get anything done.
So this is only teams that play significantly in the fall and who are D1AA in either NCR, ACR/CRA, or independent.
This also forced us to take an additional look at the Heart of America teams and Arkansas certainly moves up, especially after Kansas State beat Kansas. There are several teams that are undefeated or have really good records, but we haven't seen them against highly-ranked opposition. The likes of Boston College, Alabama, Rowan, Western Washington, and St. Joe's are in that category. We are pretty sure they can play, but at what level? The Heart of America, MAC, and, to a certain extent, SCRC are more competitive early and it makes ranking them easier.p
