We're close to knowing every D1A Conference champion; with this past weekend's results in mind, here's where we stand.

D1A Wrap: Saint Mary's, Cal, Lindenwood, Cal Poly, GCU, Davenport

Fall Conference Winners

Who has already won a conference?

BYU (Rocky Mountain), Indiana (Big 10), Kutztown (Rugby East), and Northeastern (Liberty).

California Conference

Saint Mary's has already clinched 1st, and Grand Canyon's 45-3 defeat of San Diego State assured that the 'Lopes will be 2nd unless somehow GCU loses to UC Davis and Cal Poly beats UCSB. Cal Poly will finish at least 3rd regardless. The big question remains whether they will have done enough to garner an at-large bid to playoffs.

Red River

It's all down to the championship match in a little under three weeks. Texas A&M plays Oklahoma for the conference championship March 28.

Mid-South

Lindenwood leads, but there's a likelihood that Life bypasses the Lions as the Running Eagles have two games in hand. One of those is a canceled game against Clemson—how that gets made up we haven't confirmed. Life's upcoming game against Lindenwood is a non-league game, but their clash with Davenport is in-conference, and is crucial for Life if they want to win the Mid-South.

PAC

With a game to go against Utah, Cal has already clinched the conference and Arizona and UCLA are 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Independent

Central Washington is the only independent team in the playoff picture as Notre Dame is now out of D1A. The Wildcats are 6-0, with another game a forfeit win when Utah didn't show up. Against D1A opposition CWU is 3-0 and set to play Army on Wednesday. Central can't clinch anything because they are independents, but their win over BYU pretty much secured a place in the playoffs.

This is just for fun, but also of interest. This is the list of teams that played D1A opposition outside of their conference.
