Here's a very quick update on some news around D1A action.

Lindenwood went down to Life University and won quite well 29-16. The Lions punished Running Eagles indiscipline with flyhalf Evan Williams accounting for 17 of his team's 29 points, while fullback Shiven Dukhande and hooker Kayleb O'Donoghoe scored tries. The result dropped Life to 2-1 and put Lindenwood at 2-0. Plenty moe games to play.

Saint Mary's had all they could handle with BYU, but emerged 39-28 winners in Moraga Saturday. This after the Gaels won a league game over Santa Clara 71-18 on Friday. This was BYU's first game since October but they looked relatively polished despite the layoff.

Central Washington shut out Trinity Western on Thursday 24-0 and then shut out the University if Washington 88-0 on Saturday.  Grand Canyon won a California Conference league game 43-20 on Friday over UC Davis.
